Find Your Passion and Leverage Your Home Business To Enjoy It

We’ve all heard it before from sponsors, uplines, leaders, and mentors. They’ve all said it to us, for you to find your passion. The way to truly have success in your home business is to get in touch with your why, they say. Well what does that mean, and how does it help you in your quest to succeed?

Find Your PassionLet me Start with this statement. My passion is not to sell stuff online. My passion is not to recruit people to join my biz opp. My passion isn’t to place Facebook ads or write blog posts. My passion isn’t even to recruit people to join a biz opp. To be quite honest, those things are all the mechanics of my business that have allowed me live my passion. Once you find your passion, then you could leverage your home business to be able to live it, and enjoy it.

I hope that this is clear for you. I believe that a lot of marketers and home business entrepreneurs believe that they have to have a passion for selling, and that may be true for some. It’s my personal belief that your business is the key to enabling you to being able to find your passion, and live it. I’ll give you my own personal example.

When I first heard the find your passion idea, I pondered what my passion really was. Was it my business? Well, no. I initially felt badly about this. What was wrong with me that my business wasn’t the thing that drove me? How could I change that and achieve the goals that I’d set for myself? Then I realized that there wasn’t anything “wrong” with me. I realized that my passion was my wife and kids, and martial arts. Now, I’ve been training in martial arts since I was nine years old, and it’s always been in my blood, as the saying goes. There was a point where I taught martial arts full time, and I enjoyed teaching, and helping people become a better version of themselves through martial arts training. So now what the heck does that have to do with marketing, mlm, or any online business? It has everything to do with it.

Find Your Passion and Leverage Your Business To Live It

If I were working a traditional job still, I wouldn’t be able to devote as much time to my family, or to my martial arts training. That’s just the simple truth of it, and anyone who works for someone else will attest to that. There’s only so much time in a day, and our responsibilities have priority. When you find your passion, what will you do to be able to do what you love? That’s where my business comes in to play. I suggest that this is a fine place for your to play in as well. Find your passion, and use your business as a means to be able to do it, play it, or enjoy it.

Let’s be honest here. Unless I’m terribly off the mark here, selling health shakes or the latest in communications services isn’t going to be the thing that you live your life for. So ask yourself now the all important question, “what is it that drives you?”. Once you know this and find your passion, you’ll be able to put your business efforts into the proper perspective  to be able to achieve said goals to participate in whatever your driving force is. For some it will be family, and for some it will be freedom. There are folks that have a legitimate passion to help others realize their potential. In some form, making an impact in some way will be at the root of it. Whatever it truly is, I urge you to dig deep, learn about yourself and your driving motives, and find your passion. Once you do this, then you’re business will figure it’s way into your plans to live your life on your terms.

Please share this post and video if you believe this will help someone, or if this really did aid you to find your passion. As always, leave any questions or comments below. I appreciate you, and wish you amazing success. Now go find your passion and take it!

Great post, Scott. When you believe in and are passionate about what you are doing, it shows and attracts others to you.

  2. Jaye Carden

Great stuff Scott. When you have a passion for something, it will come out and others can see it in you. You can be really great at anything you have a passion for. Enjoyed the post and did not know about the martial arts story of you getting hurt at a young age until now!

    Hey Scott,
I love how you describe Passion! Without Passion there is nothing that will drive you to do anything in life, not just in business. Awesome video Scott.
