Teach To Teach: Point To MLM Training Resources

Have you ever been on a phone call before with a new prospect, team member, or affiliate, getting peppered with questions, and before you know it, you’ve been on the phone for 90 minutes? I think we’ve all been there at some point. Well, I was on a training webinar with Ray Higdon, who broke down the Teach to Teach principle he applies in his business. I’m going to give you the benefits on this method of training your team, without spending all of your time on the phone, at the expense of neglecting the work you have to get done for your own business.

One of the coolest things about the teach to teach approach to your home business is that now you really don’t have to know everything about everything. Not that you had to before, but from personal experience, I’ve felt in the past that I needed to be able to answer every question thrown my way. By pointing to some sort of mlm training, whether it was created by you or someone else, releases you from being the expert of every marketing strategy on the planet. Ahhh, now doesn’t that make you feel a little better?

The second advantage of applying this teach to teach process is that your prospect, or team member is going to get valuable training on the subject of their question. If I have someone ask me a question about how to generate leads online using Instagram, I will point them in the direction of my friend April’s amazing webinar on Instagram Lead Generation Training. They’re getting high value information to answer their questions, and again, you don’t have to be the authority on all things marketing.

Teach To Teach Benefit #3

The next advantage may be the greatest one in the teach to teach system of training your team. That would be the gift of time. Let’s face it, we all have the same 24 hours in a day. Now, it’s absolutely the right thing to do to help and serve your team. Especially the newer folks who require some one on one attention. However, as your team and business grows, it will be impossible to be on the phone with every business partner and answer every question they have personally. You’ll eventually see you business decline because you’ll end up neglecting the tasks that you must attend to to keep your business growing and thriving. Sharing a resource to give them the necessary training information will free you up from the phone, and enable you to do what needs to be done on your end.

Teach To Teach Benefit #4

The final service you give by employing the teach to teach method is showing other people how to train their own team as their business progresses. If, for example, I tell Tom to check out a valuable training to answer his question, I’d follow it up with, “And you should also share this with your team when they have the same question.”. This is a great way to teach duplication in your organization, and create a culture of nurturing people to become self sufficient in their business, instead of having to wait on you to provide them with answers before taking action and taking control of their own business and future.

I hope that you begin to utilize these teach to teach strategies in your own business. If you do, you’ll be able to release the feeling of having to personally answer every single question that comes up, and will see an upswing in your productivity because of the time you’ll end up saving, and attention you will now give to the growth of your business.

Makes great sense and well explained. I can just send someone to this page if they ask me what to do about all the questions they get from their team!
